Dharshana

Our dance depicts two women who have been victims of domestic abuse by their husbands. We start our dance by portraying the anger (depicted by Darshini) and sadness (depicted by Dharshana) associated with overcoming the grief of assault. We then get a glimpse into what the women had to experience in both of their situations. Towards the middle of the piece, the two women bump into each other in their respective dances, acknowledging that they have both been through similar situations. They then become hopeful and unite along with their dances.
